Gridiron Greats Fall Update

WHAT YOUR DONATION CAN DO

If every football fan reading this donates just ONE DOLLAR, it would make an enormous impact on the lives of the many retired players in dire need.

Together retired NFL players and fans can do what is not adequately being done, which is assisting the men who helped build the game into what it has become today!  While we realize that is not the responsibility of the fans, or corporate America, to provide assistance to retired players in need, the financial aid and social services our organization provides are critical to helping these players and their families survive until those who bear the responsibility do the right thing. Please join this group of NFL Legends in helping some of the men who have provided us with many pleasurable and exciting Sunday afternoons. You can help make a difference!  Read about players who are in dire need. Donations can be earmarked for specific players and their families who are need.

Your donation to the fund will help provide assistance to retired NFL players who are experiencing physical and financial hardships. The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund provides financial support and the coordination of medical assistance and social services to retired professional football players and their immediate families who are in need.  The Fund is intended to help retired players with ongoing, hands-on services and financial aid for medical costs and basic needs including but not limited to: food, housing, shelter, transportation, clothing, and other needs.  In addition to financial support, the funds staff also assists with the coordination of other types of assistance that may be available through a variety of different agencies and social services. Efforts are also made to secure pro bono medical care, pharmaceuticals, and other needs.

The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund is a non-stock, nonprofit corporation that has been established to provide direct or indirect financial assistance to those retired players who are in dire need due to inadequate disability compensation or pensions. No part of the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund’s assets will benefit any private individual or entity other than for the specific purposes of the fund or for actual services. Learn more
