Super Bowl Events Access Players Available to Media
The Gridiron Greats are being joined by a group of 70 NFL Legends who are coming together to raise significant funds for their brothers who are in need and to raise awareness regarding issues facing retired NFL players.
This is an unprecedented initiative and the largest humanitarian project to date to assist retired players in dire need. In addition to the many NFL Legends who are participating, many players who are in dire need and have been assisted by the Gridiron Greats are also involved and will open up their lives to the media during the next two weeks.
The Gridiron Greats will make players available to nation wide media outlets and also to those who will be on site in Arizona for Super Bowl. Players are available starting Wednesday January 23, 2008 through Super Bowl Sunday. They will be available for the Following:
- Local & regional TV Arizona
- Radio phone interviews (available starting 1/24/08)
- Radio Row on site in Phoenix (available starting 1/29/08)
- Print – Players available to writers by phone or in person in Phoenix
(available starting 1/24/08 phone 1/29/08 in person in Phoenix)

The Gridiron Greats will host a press conference on Thursday, January 31st at 8 am in the NFL media center. Over 60 NFL Legends will be in attendance at the press event to unveil the GGAF auction items for the Super Bowl Week online fundraising auction @ gridiriongreats.org and will discuss their involvement in the humanitarian efforts to assist retired players.
